Rostechnadzor organized the second workshop as part of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) on the topic “Risk-based Approach in the Industrial (Occupational) Safety Management System at Mining Facilities.” Representatives of supervisory agencies and industrial enterprises from 11 member states, including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, as well as the Republic of Belarus as an observer state, took part in the workshop via videoconference. 26.01.2026 Rostechnadzor hosts working meeting with Vietnamese delegation
The Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service hosted a meeting with the participation of Alexander Trembitsky, Chairman of Rostechnadzor, and a delegation from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led by Le Xuan Dinh, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of nuclear and radiation safety regulation. The meeting was also attended by Nguyen Hoang Linh, Director General of the Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (VARANS), and Nguyen Tuan Khai, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM). The parties discussed the priority tasks facing the Vietnamese regulator in preparing for the construction of the Center for Nuclear Science and Technology and the nuclear power plant.
